From bunnyman

You, sir are a very good drummer.

Too kind B-man. Holla'!!! I was cracking up. You guys certainly have a great sense of music and humor. I like your snare sound on that ditty.

Hear is a couple more from our Band Meltdown. We kind of do our own take of the songs. Our Singer is moving back East in December and we will be out playing again, I can't wait, Clapping Happy2

Here are a few songs we did a couple of summers ago. Slingerland 24" kick and 18" floor tom, Tama rosewood snare, 22" Sabian AA medium ride, and Zildjian 15" Quick-Beat hats.

Oh, and the name of the song's not "White Kids in High School," it's "Buster Keaton's Cow."

Currently playing for loud rock and roll gigs:
1982 Ludwig Classic in white Cortex, 24-13-14-18 + Coliseum snare
For quieter gigs:
Early '70s Whitehall Tiger Eye Pearl 20-12-14-14
Neglected but thinking about:
Early '70s Sonor Champions in Rosewood, 22-12-13-16

I grew up in New York city. I got to hear bands like the Ramones, The New York Dolls, Lou Reed and several other, 'New Wave bands.' I was never a huge fan of the genre, but I did love/appreciate the almost innocent 'garage band' quality/approach to the music. There's something to be said for keeping the raw, basic, three chord Rock & Roll feel alive. Reminds me of the basement/garage bands I grew up in.

Rock on...

C'mon guys... more! These are all great fun to listen to. Makes me feel like I know you a little better. This is one kind of sharing that builds real camaraderie between people. I'm really enjoying these contributions you're making. Thanks to all who have posted links thus far. Keep em coming.

Basically everything we got on youtube is crap - old live camera recordings, but you can listen to our demo tape here: http://bandzone.cz/mouryzroury

It's also a little bit outdated, but the best we've got right now. Hopefully, we'll be recording a single some time in the spring.

Just click the big ole 'Play' button and listen - don't be confused by vast amounts of Czech language everywhere... oh and don't mind the lyrics...

Click on 'Fotky' for photos.

Like I said earlier, the variety of music we play is mind-blowing!

Gilnar - My wife loves to listen to International music. She has some pretty eclectic tastes in music and as a result, she has exposed me to a "world" of music I might never have discovered on my own. I'm hooked on African music along with the stuff that is coming out of Eastern Europe.

Your band is GREAT! I love the instrumentation and the sound you guys get. The sound is a wonderful amalgamation of American Rock, Big-Band, jazz, Dixie Land, I hear so many influences in there. What comes out is a music that is ALIVE, fresh and full of great energy.

I love the band. All best wishes for the future. Thanks for sharing/posting the link. Cool!

Super B - Kick a$$ and take names later! I love it. With the exception of the keyboard player, we're playing in identically set-up bands, so you know I dig it. Great, solid drumming, you're a good, seasoned player. Love the band.

MORE! Keep these coming. Stage Band2
