I'm in Spokane, WA. Gotta have the land line for biz. Have an Art rubber stamp show in Holland. I put our company sites at the bottom if you are interested. Never found any specific cleaner. Not much has been nickle plated in the last 60 years. The marcher claws came out of another clean. The plating is gone on most. Just a great drum so may spring to have some bits replated. I am in Illinois so that puts me in central time zone. Where are you? Wow i didnt even know there was such a thing as land lines any more, i thought the cell phone has taken its place. ill keep both numbers just in case. what you going to Holland for? isn't there some kind of nickle cleaner on the market that would remove that oxidation? i'm gonna google it and see what we come up with. i can see why you are not a morning person, yous status says you were on here till 4 am, i zonked out around 1am, i think. ill let ya get some sleep then give ya a holler. talk to ya soon.

The 6616 number is a land line. It know not of texts :-). This one does:
509-944-6264. Leave for Holland next week. Not sure what time zone you are in, I don't do mornings so anything mid afternoon should be fine. Funny tried some things on my RK snare and worked well so doing all of the marcher hardware again :-) Thing with the old nickle plate it looks to be gone but it really is just covered in oxidation. Hope you can make the drum show. Would like to meet everybody but I can't get away this year.

It is coming along great. Hardware is done. Shell is waxed up. Hoops good. Darn delay is the snare wires. They are copper plated steel. Don't want to lose the copper plate so going slow, as in old toothbrush. Grrr

Hey, Got a deal for you. How about send it your way when finished. You bang it around for a couple of weeks. Write a review of what you think of my restoration and the drum. I'll include a paid return shipping label to get it back here. I do want it back :-) Just an outstanding drum and sound clips etc... don't cut it. You got's to play this one.
