Ludwig Marble Pearl, 1928-29. Not mine, but someone I know. He has a matching BD also.

I will say Slingerland Capri Pearl because I used to own them and it's a beach to find add ons for. I kept the 5x14 3ply Radio King snare and sold my kick. Storm Trooper
Why doesn't someone make this wrap? It is really cool.

I have posted about this before when there was a thread about Mardi Gras and Capri pearl as well as some other "busy" small patterns. From a distance of ten feet or more, the beautiful wrap pattern (random or set pattern) is obscured so as to not be discernable. I love Capri, Mardi Gras, and Fiesta wraps. Even more obscured at a distance are the Veiled patterns. All of these wraps are gorgeous up close. But, unless there are video close ups of the drums, no one but those onstage would ever know.
Love the Aztecs.
Other than the obvious Autograph kit and a few others, ...
The rarest kit I've personally hunted (and found) was a 1979 Slingerland THREE ply kit in Oakwood Lacquer. There are some five ply examples out there, but the three ply kits are hard hard hard to find. You had to custom order 3 ply shells, as they had standardized on five ply by then. Add that to the fact that they only offered these for one year ... did I mention they are hard to find?
That was a great year for Slingerland wood finishes. Teak anyone?
In gretsch, my favorite rarely seen is Cameo coral. If unfaded it's very orange in color and unlike any other wrap color (if faded it gets some pinkish tones that I don't like as much). And you can sure see it from a distance.
How about some Ludwig Galaxy sparkle, Camco 3D moire, Slingerland gold veiled ebony pearl, Silver veil pearl, Turquiose veil pearl, Sparkling peackok?...wait...I think Im dreaming...
Leedy & Ludwig Antique Silver. 1950-1952. Not as rare as autograph of the stars, but still rare...
