Somebody call me? I don't have much, but I happened to come across this which may help:
https://www.pearldrummersforum.com/showthread.php?205263-Zildjian-K-China-Boy-year
while I was following up Drumaholic's apparent claim that IAK (Intermediate American K) 17" Chinas don't exist in this thread:
http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=51599
17" Intermediate K Zil China
Just for your information there is no such thing.
As happens sometimes, I don't know whether Drumaholic is objecting to
the use of the word Intermediate because he doesn't believe IAKs should be called that,

"Intermediate" must only be used together with the full qualifiers "American K",

they weren't available in 17",

he has read the original post as if it had an "Istanbul" or "Turkish" or "Old K" in there

the word Boy needed to be on Blair's description.
Drumaholic's terse answer doesn't make his particular objection clear to me. But it did seem to be a conversation stopper in that thread.
That's about all I can help you with. I haven't got to the part of my timeline yet which would cover individual models from that era. And I haven't vetted any of information from that Pearl Drummer's thread against any other sources. So it is all read and evaluate the weight of evidence for yourself. I just stored the URL away for future reference when I get to individual models and which years they were available.
You might do just as well using Google to look up search terms. That's how I stumbled on the PearlDrummers thread in the first place.
