Thanks J!m. The years all do seem to be lining up. I don't know specifically about the China models, but my Avedis Timeline has current best estimate years for when the Avedis was added above the Zildjian (1992):http://black.net.nz/avedis/avedis-gallery.html#SolidInkAvedisand the first hear for laser serials (1994):http://black.net.nz/avedis/avedis-gallery.html#laserSo if the Avedis above the Zildjian is also true of the Chinas, then yours is pre 1992.There aren't any specific years within the 1980s which are marked by ink changes in my timeline, although there are some years associated with specific models (like the Earth Ride and EAKs). But the other thing you might like to check grantro is whether or not yours has the CO stamp:description: http://black.net.nz/avedis/avedis-gallery.html#COAgain, this won't give a specific year (we don't have a specific year for when it appeared yet) but it is an interesting piece of extra data I'd like to know.
I don't recognize that stamp so I'm assuming it was the last "real" stamp before going to laser?
I'll chime in with what I know:
Yes, Granto I would say mid-80's to early 90's. Anything after 1993 would have a Serial Number under the engraved stamp and have the word "Avedis" next to the word "Zildjian" ink stamped on top.
I know the difference between China Boy High and China Boy Lows, as I own both from those eras. The Lows had a much flatter profile, whereas the Highs had a very domed profile, literally my 22" China Boy High almost looks like an umbrella. That's what raises the pitch.
Really nice cymbal! I bet that would sound sweet with about 6 rivets in it! I have one from the same era as you (20" Low) and used it on a jazz gig last night. Perfect! Not harsh or too loud, but a nice Mel Lewis/Jeff Hamilton dirt to it.
I have one that I bought probably back in the early 90's.
It's neither "Hi" or "Low" but it is "Boy".
I got bored with it years ago and put rivets in it. :)

I don't know if it was the last pressed in die stamp.
I currently have two die stamps from the 1980s which are identified and described. One is that CO version, and the second is a 1" tall stamp which looks like the late 1950s small stamp. Only one (the CO) is written up on my site because I haven't put in some pending changes. Here is the 1950s looking 1" stamp, in a context which gives the game away that it isn't a 1950s one:

And documenting the height:

Note that some Earth Rides have the 70s stamp rather than this 50s looking one. Also, this 1950s looking one isn't always pressed in as firmly as the measured example suggests. They vary in how they look. I've got maybe 7 in my picture reference collection to illustrate how variable they appear.
I also have a bit of evidence that this 1" tall 1950s stamp is used on fully lathed rides (not just Earth Rides) and it might be yet another source of mis-identification between late 1950s cymbals and 1980s cymbals once the ink is completely removed. This is especially so when people find Hidehitters which fails to mention heights altogether (and doesn't tell you what to look for to distinguish the stamps). There are other ways to tell 1950s from 1980s cymbals (visible hammering and lathing for example), but most people wouldn't look that closely.
I don't have evidence on years of use for either the CO nor the 1" tall 50s looking die stamp, so they are just called "80s" for now. There may be other stamps we don't know about yet, because stampologists seem to have lost interest after ink models and logos came on the scene (early 70s). It is also possible that some stampologists may know about them, but the other stamps aren't written up somewhere which has come to my attention. I didn't know about the CO and the 1" 50s looking stamps until others mentioned them.
