Looking for a late 70s Slingy snare. Prefer 5 ply in a natural wood finish. Would settle for a wrap. TDR would be a GREAT bonus.

Cash or trade.

mcjnic,

OK, Here are some pics for everyone to see. I decided to post them just in case you may not be interested. I've had this drum since 1980. Used it with my cover band through the 80's. Has been in storage since then. The finish on the chrome covering and on the hoops does have some light pitting. Also some light corrosion on the inside screws and washers. Has a good snare side ambasador but the batter would need replacement. Also you will need a set of snares. You can use standard 14" snares or get some 16" snares and mount them so they sit "off the head" as originally designed. With the 5 plys and all that chrome it is a very heavy drum. If you want a "playing" drum this would be excellent as it is very solid. However, I would not consider it a "collector" level drum.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks!

Thank you, but it's a bit too off for my intentions. I like the drum, but the wrap is just a bit too worn. If not for the wrap, I'd be all over this one. Thanks.
