I'm surprised by the amount of answers on the "two rides" answer. I never even considered that, even when I was a youngster; however, I used light rides as crashes sometimes, so I guess I *did* use two rides.

I use two rides - 1) Sabian HHX evolution with lots of wash 2) Vintage Zildjian with lots of ping. I have them to my right, overlapping each other with the ping peeking out from underneath the wash. The ping just sounds better on softer music, when the old dudes decide it's time to dance.

Actually it is so heavy that it should be labelled as a ride.

Sabian HHX Evolution are nice, nice cymbals and mix very well with vintage Zillys.
I still think cymbal companies sell the same cymbal three ways in some cases.
