Got the Tom and Floor Tom done. Starting the bass today and the bongos well I don't know on them, got some snares to do first. FYI this is my wifes favorite kit so far.

Great projects! Beautiful WFL drums. You sound like you have a very understanding wife - that really helps when it comes to having lots of drums.
I've only been involved with restoring vintage drums (kit drums) for a few months and it's a great hobby. I can't think of anything drum related that's more fun than bringing a great ole drum back to life.
Way to go.

She is great! She is totally diggin this kit. She told me when I got it that she totally understood why and this kit was really cool and unique looking. My son and I quized her last night about parts of a drum, heads, etc. and she easily got an A and we were blown away...she really does listen to us...LOL!!!

Well here is the WFL kit out for its first gig along with the rat Radio King...The kit sounded AMAZING! Oh and one of Ben seeing a little of the perks of being the drummer...LOL!!

Where was the gig? This looks almost like the "Backyard" down in hill country, but I'm sure it was local to you. Nice looking kit!
