Nice lookin Kit,
I noticed yr using the snare std,..(Tom) ?
I too have the same kit, just wondering because I can't really get the right angle from the rail setup, so I use a snare std as well..!

Ya, if I use the rail, the tom is too high or too far over to the left on the 24" kick.

Ok,
Mine is a 22" & I find the same...
Gotta say I really do like my 20" kick..

Beautiful kit you have there.
Is that a School festival I see for your snare?

Great kit buddy! I've got a WFL as well and I haven't gotten a chance to play it out much. Hopefully that will change soon. I also use a snare stand due to the mounting issue.
I bought a product called "Little Booty Shakers" which are constructed from a medium soft foam and strap around the endings of the snare basket. I can say this, it really opened the rack tom up! They will do the same with a snare drum.

What cymbals are you playing there?

The ride is a 20" Zildjian CIE vintage series, great cymbal. The crash is a cracked 17" Zildjian K, I like using it at this particular gig, because it's very mellow. I have a pair of 14" New Beats, but I wanted some bigger hats. I didn't want to spend a ton of dough, so I traded a ride for a 16" Paiste PST5 and a 16" Meinl Classics Custom, both are medium thin crash cymbals, but they sound great together as hats. I used them at this gig.

I'm not sure, how can you tell? It's a 6.5x14 with seperate lugs, the original throw off was replaced with a newer one, but there are no extra holes.
