Howie, remember all the obnoxious "ludnuts" on DFO that drove both of us crazy?

For those unaware, years ago, drumforum.org was infested with a large group of Ludwig fanboys who openly criticized and hated on just about every other brand of drum imaginable. They were particularly critical of anyone who played DW drums. Their whole thing was, "Ludwig is great and everything else sucks."

The last straw was when a few employees from Ludwig started posting. The ludnuts were falling all over themselves kissing their asses and showering them with compliments.

It so turned me off, I couldn't bring myself to own a Ludwig set until two years ago. That all changed when I got my 67's in Burgundy Sparkle.

My thing is, live and let live and play the drums you love.
