That's early 1930's.
And that wouldn't be a swish cymbal because swish cymbals had holes for rivets.
They also said ""Swish cymbal" right in the trademark where the words "Turkish Cymbals" normally are.
Looks to me like it could be the rarely seen "Squash Cymbal".

Sorry to say. No one tried to hatch this cymbal. It was made that way.
And what about a pang cymbal?
