Vinny - Thanks for the lead! I already have a cymbal stand and hi-hat that came with the kit. I haven't had time to polish the stands up with all the work I've been doing on the kit. I was up half the night doing a personalized graphic for the bass drum. Hopefully I'll find some time to do the cymbal stand, but the top of the hi-hat is missing so I won't be using that one.
Scott - Yep! That's the stuff! Has a Gorilla on the label. I put a drop on a toothpick and I wipe it back and forth in a long 'S' pattern leaving tiny streaks of glue on the surface. It'll hold the felt on there so the drums don't slip out!
Mitch - Thanks for the tips! When I was in my 20's I had a good buddy who was a professional photographer. On more than a few occasions (when he had a shoot with a hot model,) I would burn down a couple of doobies and watch the shoot! I learned a lot just hanging out checking how he set-up the lights, backgrounds etc. I didn't learn a whole lot because my attention was usually on the model, but I did pick up a few tips along with a lot of unused wood. :p
