and what a cool looking kit to start out with

My first kit was a four piece Norma kit in orange sparkle

I think my brother got them for next to nothing and passed then down to me

mostly to try and keep me off his Ludwig sky blue pearl kit

This worked for only a short time hehehe

I wish I had those Norma drums now

being a kid I grew bored with the Orange sparkle and decided to strip them down to recover them

well the stripping part went well enough

but I never did get them re-covered or for that matter re-assembled

most regrettably they ended up in the trash

My buddy and fellow VDF member Richm just gave me

the exact same orange sparkle 12" Norma mounted tom

as the one which came with my first kit ..that Richie is sure good to me
