Although this forum is a pretty good resource for catalogues; it sounds like there is a valuable resource here. Any chance of getting these scanned and to the forum, from some of you?
I offered mine to Vintage Drum Guide. I thought that information would be better at that site since it is geared just for that stuff.
I love old catalogs and have been collecting them for years. They teach so much about drum history and are so important in determining dates, finish names, part numbers, etc. The Leedy Topics and Ludwig Drummer are incredible sources for filling in details between product catalogs, which often were not yearly. Here's what's in my catalog drawer:
Ludwig: 1926, 1929, 1932, 1935, 1936, 1938, 1941, 1948, 1967, 1971
Slingerland: 1934, 1936, 1938, 1940, 1950, 1959, 1960
Leedy: 1926, 1930, 1933, 1936, 1939
Rogers: 1971
Leedy & Ludwig: 1951
I have a lot of this stuff on my web site but if anyone ever needs a specific page or photo, let me know. I'll be happy to scan and send it to you.

Would you like more for your site?
Sure! I could scan them and return them to you, if you like. My web site doesnt really go into the 1960's or later much, but the focus is more on 1920's-50's.
I am missing quite a few important catalogs like the 1928 and 1930 Slingerland catalogs.
Thanks very much for the offer and I would love the opportunity to scan any catalogs missing from my collection.
I collect Ludwig catalogs. I have most of them excepting the original first one, I have a reprint.
I hope some additional catalog scans get published on Vintage Drum Guide, because of this thread. I would love to see more Gretsch catalogs.

Yes! More scans would be awesome.
I only started to get into the 'Vintage' drum world in 2009...even though I started playing in 1961 or so. I took a long break and started playing again in 07.
Not only are the catalogs helpful when trying to sort out where and when drums and parts were made but they are loads of fun to look through. I'm continually referencing my few humble catalogs and the ones on this site. I did buy the Online set that was offered here a few years ago - great stuff.
Webmaster David put together a nice collection of scanned catalogs a bit before I joined the site, and was gracious enough to burn them on CD for me.
For any of you that don't have these, I would be more than happy to upload them to my web site and make them available for download.
That's 'IF' David says it's okay. I think I remember him saying that he originally sold them to help support the site. I know I sent him a small donation to recompense slightly for his time.
So, if David gives me permission to share, and some of you guys download the files, I think it would be great to donate ten bucks or more to the website. The information gleaned is worth thousands more...
Thoughts?
Thanks for all of the replies so far...
I would like to get original Premier 1972 and 1975 complete catalogs....if anyone has any to sell or trade....
