The February 2000 issue of Modern Drummer. Looks like your kit. I would post the picture, but can't get it to upload.

What does the article say about it ? (BTW - below the 'compose message' window there's a button which says "manage attachments" - cursor that button and you can upload here)
To me this is set its like a woman from Brazil. Not the typical Blue eyed-blond one but a beauty anyway!!!!!! I still recall falling in love with it back on the 2000 when shown in Modern Drummer electricitelectricitelectricitBowingBowingBowingBowing

The lugs remind me of a wooden copy of Premier lugs....maybe its a WWII era Premier kit? Did they ration metal in the UK like they did in the USA then?
Either way, pretty cool.
Humble opinion.. that baby screams home built.. by an aircraft mechanic or a boat builder. Beautiful..
Here it is. I'm sure there is a better way to size the picture, but I just split it in half.

Folks, I am shocked that is the kit I submitted and never knew article was written, wow you are the best. That is some great work, the drums are still a mystery and wonder now if they were very early prototype for design conception.
Wow! Those knock your socks right off! Beautiful! Master wood guy, boat builder, whatever. What a fine job!
