UK Hayman Vibrasonic full black drum set

That is a really cool kit regardless of color! The double tom mount is not Hayman as mentioned and is, in fact, Premier. It may have been ordered that way from the music store much the same way that you see a lot of Gretsch, Ludwig, etc. drums with what appear to be factory installed

Rogers or other beefier hardware. Premier would keep this all English and was a much better option than a knuckle buster. Does the tom mount have an adjustable rod that goes all the way through to the bottom of the bass drum shell?

Ah yes, I can see now why that might be called the knuckle crusher. It looks like a medieval weapon!

Thanks for everyones thoughts on the tom holder.

It does extend right down through the kick drum shell, and it's about a foot long in total.

When playing I actually now just mount of the tom on a snare stand, it gives much better stability and placement - the tom holder was in the garage too for about 5 years until the other day!

Personally i can back the information also. I also own a Hayman Vibrasonic black mat five piece drum with the famous nuckle krusher tom mount. All the pieces have there original brass badge. Its quite a nice set and it sounds loud. Yours has been a bit pourly restored but i'm sure is still worth a lot cause every pieces are rare exept the Tom mount.

Hi all, just looking back over this post I put up just under a year ago.

I still have the complete set (yet it remains unplayed) and I am finding more out about it.

I am based in the North of the UK (Yorkshire) and am ideally looking to sell this kit before Christmas. And would prefer it go to a loving and appreciative home!

If anyone is interested in more information/pictures/private sale details/meet up, please give me a shout.

Thanks,

Ash.

I noticed that the Tom mount is exactly like my 70's Premier tom mounts.

Nice looking drums!

Thanks - yeah it's a good set, someone else mentioned the tom mount was Premier. I've since seen the same mount on various photos, of some quite rare pieces.

It's a bit of a frankenstein set really; and it's been that way since I bought it over 10 years ago. I'd like to think in their own right that there are some collectable / sought after pieces in there.

I'm unsure what to list the kit for on eBay.

Anyone know what's a reasonable price as a Buy Now?

(Sorry if this should really be in the 'sell' section of the forum!)
