Love the idea and it turned out great.
OldSchool! What a fantastic tribute drum! My dad passed in 2013 and also was Navy...Korean War on the USS Norton Sound. Proudly display your drum!-Mark
Shall do, Mark! Thanks.
Gary!BEAUTIFUL job on this!, and a fabulous tribute! My dad was also Navy! ... WWII in the Pacific on board the USS Ranger which was indeed, a carrier. WHEN I could get him to open up and talk about it .. which was not often .. WOW .. don't think on my best day I could have done what he, your dad, both Mark's dad, and anybody else that was there, did. BEAUTIFUL job Gary!Tommyp
Hey, Tommy! Thanks for the kind words. I totally agree with you regarding your comments concerning those who served in WWII. There's definitely a reason that they were known as this country's "Greatest" Generation, isn't there? Great hearing from you!
Thanks so much, Mike. I appreciate the positive feedback!
That's pretty cool. Your dad resembles Frank Sinatra. This Seabee vet has the greatest respect for vets like your dad and his generation.
Thanks. Love the Frank Sinatra comment (lol)!
Gary,
As others have said, what a cool idea and and outstading result! You really put some thought into this and it really shows. Great job, it is absolutely beautiful!
Thank you!
