I will give this thread a bump to see if there are anymore out there...

I just picked these up literally yesterday. Thank you Craigslist. There is only one other guy I can think of that had this C Pattern. He seems to have had many in this pattern, see link:

If anyone has a matching floor tom for sale, let me know. Thanks.
What a find...and with matching snare! Well done.
Mike
I've played at least a hundred gigs with these Vistas over the last 15 years (in and out of my kit rotation). No cracks other than the one small one they had when I bought them.
What an incredible kit. I have a quadraplus Tequila Sunrise. But those small toms are killer.
Nice job
I've posted pics of mine before, but not in this thread...
70's STAR kit, taken down to the screws, seam repaired on bass, beautiful new repro badges thanks to Ralf, no snare came with the kit so I added a new Tama that I think looks the part and is true to the brand lineage.
Two tips that I'd share about refurbishing acrylics...
You can get the correct glue for cracks and seams from a local aquarium shop. It's silly expensive, and a little goes a long way, my local guy let me buy a tube and then bring the rest back for a refund, so it cost me $5 instead of $50.
The other tip is to use modern washers against the inside of the shell with the the lug screws. I found some at Lowe's that are a slightly concave metal washer with black neoprene rubber fused to the inside. They tighten down great, and really have a positive dampening effect on the hardware.
