Here are pictures of the oldest pedal I have. It's an early 60's first generation Slingerland Tempo King, complete with multi-position footboard!

Here's my old Leedy Lightweight pedal. I bought it at the flea market some 30 years ago. She's a wall hanger, but she's all mine!

Not so vintage but 2 of my SK's. First one is a older WFL model. Nice original condition but has mechanical issues. 2nd one is THE FIRST Speed King pedal I bought brand new some 40+ years ago in 72. My friend had it all this time and sent it back to me recently. Super nice guy. Dig the beater! He used it a lot. Still great life in it and on the set here now.

Here's one you don't see often. The Ajax set appears to be all there right down to original cymbals. As you can see this pedal is in excellent shape as is the whole set.Only problem is the wrap is a bit brittle which has nothing to do with this pedal.

Purdie gave me this one.

Very rusty.

I gave it a special "Bath".

Re-covered the old beater innards.

Replaced coat hanger wire with stranded cable.

It actually works.
