The WMP Has Arrived

Loading...

Here's the Ludwig keystone badge wmp kit I just bought.

The 13 has a white interior, baseball bat muffler and no date.

The 16 has a clear interior, round knob muffler and has a date of 1968.

The 22 has a clear interior and a pre-serial number badge.

For a pieced together kit they match perfectly, this is probably the cleanest I've ever owned.

By far one of the nicest kits yet Johnny I think that mite be a keeper once you start playing it, find old heads when possible there’s no contest on them with that wood there made for each other...

Gary

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

The kit is so nice I'm almost afraid to take it to a gig.

Those look fantastic! Just the right amount of "aging" on the wrap. It looks like the bass might be a bit whiter than the two toms.

If you get a chance when changing heads, take off a lug on each drum to compare aged wrap vs. new.

Other than yellowing like a smoker's teeth, I don't think it's possible for a WMP kit to look bad.

That's probably my phone camera, here's a picture the previous owner sent, they all match pretty well.

Here's the 13 without the bottom head or tom mount and one with the ride on the L-arm.
