The 14x14 Remains Highly Sought

Here's a link to the drum in question... https://reverb.com/item/29763809-gretsch-14x14-burgundy-sparkle-round-badge-floor-tom-1964-burgundy-sparkleFor that amount of money, you'd think they could post better and larger pictures!-Mark

It appears to have been discounted because the paper label is missing. It is the style I like with the small lugs placed at the same distance from the hoop as is the case on a 12x8. Much nicer looking that those that have the bass drum size lugs placed quite a distance down the outside of the shell.

WSF? White Satin Flame?

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Oyster Pink Pearl from my Transition Badge Downbeat kit

The other 14" is Oyster Black Pearl and the optional FT on a Super Classic kit in 1959.

And yes WSF is White Satin Flame. Thanks all!

This is how stupid people think the world is. It's a butt ugly Ringo with the badge that has been removed.

14x14 is way overrated.

Not sure if they are overrated or just overpriced, but that seller goes by Strum und Bang, so that alone is a clue they don't get it. Strum and Roll might have been a better choice.

Sorry guys, but I love seeing high prices on vintage drums. I can't afford to spend that kind of money on a drum....but someone can. Anyone who can afford a 12K floor tom and wants it, should have it. *shrugs*
