Hey man,

fantastic kit!!! Bowing

I had a similar kit - 22x14, 12x8, 16x16 that came in wine red wrap from 1995 until 1998. I think they were about 1980 or 1981 models. I recovered them in gold sparkle and sold them?????? DOH!!! The WMP has aged beautifully!!

Great great live kit, punchy/resonant/loud!!

Cheers

Shrek.

Very nice kit Osakabop.

I have a similar kit that I bought back in 1992; it was about 10 years old when I bought it. It's been a real work horse and has travelled the world and been thrown around by baggage handlers etc. These kits are so tough. I have had one of the bass drum hoops repaired and the original snare (not in pic but I still have it) had the shell cracked on a flight back from Europe which was successfully repaired, but considering what they've been through they have held up incredibly well. The internal dampers had been removed before i got it. This must have been right near the end of internal dampers on these kits?

The hardware that came with it was mainly Tama from the same vintage which, for the most part, I've been using as my main gigging gear ever since. I tend to use my older vintage kits for live now - nice and light - but I'll never sell this kit.
