Some old clunkers from Germany, Switzerland and USA.

It´s great to be here. I´m a drummer from Germany and prefer the vintage stuff.

I normally play the old stuff, ready to rumble with my classic rock band.

Here some pics from the drums I restored and played a long time,

first the Sonors:

Sonor Lite (1990) in yellow. Sizes are 24x17, 13x11,14x12 rack toms, 16x17 and 18x18 floortoms. Deep and mighty, this kit rocks.

Wow, I have never received such a nice compliment!

What? No Slingerland????

I´m sorry, I never played a Slingerland. But I still need to offer a Premier Resonator:

In all these years and the many restored drums I've gotten a lot of experience. Acrylic shells were still relatively easy to grind and polish. Stainless Steel is hell, this material is very hard.

I have played many years Sonor, specially the 70ties and 80ties Sonors. Atomic bomb proofed hardware, 12 ply fat beech shells. My first kit was a Sonor Action, my second a Rogers Londoner V, Dynasonic snare and Zildjian Avedis cymbals, bought in 1980. I think that was a good start.

But for now I like my Ludwigs better. Look at the Stainless Steel, this drum embodies a true statement for rock music. On stage, it looks simply incredible.

My second favourite kit is the WMP 3-ply Big Beat. Easy to tune, warm and resonant tone.

Rogers drums are also superb. The shells are built very well. The Swivomatic hardware are fantastic as the Memriloc hardware. And they sound so good!

Here a mighty 5-ply Fullerton:

24/15/18. A real stoner kit.

My favourite drummer are the old masters, Ringo, Bonzo, Ginger, Ian Paice and Phil Rudd.

Here's a little music with my band. I hope you like it: band3
