So why do you think I was the only bid? Last viewed: 11 hours ago

You did not overpay, in fact I think you got a steal on that one. A Luxor is a fine drum, and that one looks to be in excellent condition. They have gone for much more. Same drum as a Powertone, 2 less lugs and a different strainer. They sound great.

You did very well....

+1 on DanC`s comments. That`s one serious snare drum and one which i hope you will be thrilled about.Nice condition too-enjoy that baby.Sometimes the only bid is a good thing as you just beat everyone else to the punch and i think your timing on this was perfect.

Well it's been over a week and I haven't heard a thing from the seller so I opened a case with eBay. Seller didn't have any feedback but since I paid with Paypal I'm covered so I figured what the heck - to be continued.

That stinks. That looked to be great drum at a great price. Good Luck!

Hopefully the seller is just a slow shipper.

Keep us posted. :/

Well I got my answer - it was a scam, never heard a word back from the seller so I escalated the case at eBay and got a full refund.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I have one just like the one in the auction that I'm selling for cheap. Thanks
