I don't really know much about Rogers drums or pricing, but I don't think that was too much for a nice Rogers 6-lug drum. We'll see what the experts have to say.
I purchased a wmp Rogers Luxor snare in really nice shape 3 years ago for $120 on ebay.
BTW, shipping was very reasonable at $13.70
The dark pics and zero feedback seller would be my guess .
6 lug has not the same following as 8 lug. Have one myself and enjoy it muchly!
0 feedback seller is an issue for some. Let us know what you think when it arrives.
If the drum is righteous, it should be a great drum that you bought for a very fair price.
Hey 1966bmx...I saw your signature line and just came across a Kent kit that might work for you. It's on Reverb.com. I know nothing of the kit nor am I the seller, but wanted to pass along the information.

Good luck,

Hey Aaron
Thanks for the tip man . I have been talking to the seller . Unfortunately it is not champagne sparkle . It is silver sparkle that ginger ale'd . He sent me good close up pics . Thanks again for the heads up . A super nice set though .

Nah. I'd say you did fine. I'd say it's a fair price. I wouldn't call it a good deal, but I don't think you over-paid, even including shipping. However, the sound of that drum will be quite pleasing to your ears and to other's. It's a great drum. So in that respect, it's a good deal.
I love mine. I've never played it and not gotten a head turn from other musicians or engineers. It's got a little extra crispness to it. Must be something about the combination of shell construction, edges, depth, & rims that makes it stand out. I put a set of 42 strand snares on mine. Made it extra beefy, especially when tuned low.
To me, a Luxor snare should be the foundation of every drummer's arsenal. Kind of like every guitar player needs an acoustic, a Strat, a Tele, and a Les Paul.
