Great snares all of them - I would personally kill to have the ones on either side :) but I'm working my way there...

Nice collection, I also was wondering how you liked the sonor compared to the tama steels. I have a 588 and really like the sound i'm getting out of mine. I've had my eye on some of those imperialstars for a while but never pulled the trigger on one, I prefer the deeper snares so I would probably get a 6.5".

To Sgt_pepers: Unfortunately I only have 1 drumkit and it's not vintage.

To Gary: the Sonor gives me a wide range of sounds and is pretty versatile for an 8" snare, the Tama's give me a slighlty higher pitch. If I were you I'd buy a 6,5" King Beat. They are truly great snares
