Can one of you "shell experts" please tell me what I'm looking at here in respect to the interior shells of these drums?
Thanks.

Looks like mahogany/poplar?mahogany three ply shells.
I appreciate the help!
To me it looks like mahogany/poplar/Maple
The rerings were maple, and the inside grain looks the same as the rerings.
I think that inside is maple to in the last pic. The first pics are hard to tell the difference as far as color. If you went just by color I can see where someone thought the inside was mahogany too. I think the pic is just tricky to the eye.
For some reason, the original pics I wanted to post didn't take. Here's some additional ones.
THANKS for the input thus far!
Better,
Deffinetly Maple inside.
Look at the outside/ mahogany has a coarse grain and soft.
The inside grain is nice and tight/ smooth/ hard.
Of course I can' feel the grain from a picture.;)
I have a bunch of Slingy shells in the shop that look just like them.
Yes, could be maple, too. They did both. On my monitor screen, it looked kind of red-ish like mahogany. I do know that in the early to mid 50's, there were a lot of Slingerland drums that had a very pale mahogany ply inside that looked quite a bit like maple until one looked closely at it.
here is a pic of the inside of one of my maple shelled slings for comparison
I would say those shells had their wrap removed and someone refinished them some time ago. Look at the P stamp inside the drum. I believe that indicates that the shell was to be wrapped in pearl during the making of the drum.
So, I'd say they are mahogany / poplar / maple inside.
