Slingerland Maple Wood Finish

Loading...

Just when I was about to abandon this project fellow forum-member Mountainhick came up with the missing pieces that I needed and Mikey777 supplied some mounts which allowed me to finally complete it.

I've always loved the looks of the natural maple kits. This one features all 3-ply shells. The in-lays in the bass drum hoops are green glass glitter and right now I'm using a green glass glitter Leedy & Ludwig snare to complete the kit. I'm still searching for the matching natural maple Slingy snare at a reasonable price. Hopefully I'll find one in the not too distant future. I've also got the matching Slingerland stands, although they're not shown in this particular pic.

Very nice! You're right, there's just something special about a natural maple or any other nice wood finish.

Beautiful kit I love the natural maple finish on them. I really dig the green Leedy snare too!! The BD inlay, very cool as is the Chevy BD head. Glad you were able to finish it up. This is a extremely addictive hobby! I'm already working on my 2nd kit and thinking about more!

Enjoy,

Glenn.
