Probably the most extreme repair I have made on a calf head. This head was TRASHED but I think that it really added a lot to the drum to be able to display it with the original head.
No rocket science here, basically just getting the head off the rim, soaking it, hoping the paint didn't start to disintegrate, flatten it, let it dry, soak it, flatten it, let it dry. Patched with a donor calf head and gelatin. (Gelatin is food grade hide glue!)
