Rogers timbales stands

Loading...

Rogers timbales stands as many have encountered are very hard to find and if you find they sell well over $400.00. There are a few way that you can resolve the problem without making extra holes on the drums, and will coat you a fraction of the cost of the original stand. This is for Rogers ******e mounts I will post for other mounts later.

1) you can get a reproduction Rogers Mounting plate , which will fit into the same holes. Then Ludwig clip mounts and put in same holes that are there already fits perfect. then use a ludwig stand.

2) Same technique but then you can use a Gretsch mount and grine of the mount and place it on the reproduction rogers mount. and use a ludwig stand

3) If need to make the original stand pm me and I will give you the detail specs but must have a machine shop for the cutting of parts.

Thanks for the great info Cuco.My Rogers timbale stand is all original except for the tightening screw at the top of the stand tripod base. This screw will raise or lower the top post section.I`m not even sure what the original looked like but i think it was a round ring style. This part would also be very difficult to find but maybe could be made in a machine shop.My original broke decades ago and i had a T-bar style screw made to do the job.Would this part not being original devalue my stand very much?Your thoughts please.

Glenn, thanks very much for your kind and generous offer for the wing screw.I think the one i need has the thread and wing handle being all one piece.I have a Rogers one but it`s too small of a size and likely meant for a cymbal stand.Cuco will likely know as it`s a large thread size.Anyway... hope all`s good Glenn and thanks very much for letting me know and much appreciated.
