Rogers timbales stands Last viewed: 11 hours ago

Cuco-thanks for the detailed pix and info and i`ll watch on ebay for them. It`s a larger size thread on that part than on the cymbal stands i know.Good to know it won`t have much impact on value of the stand-no plans to sell it,ha.One other question if you don`t mind-the wing screw on the tilter is an everyday regular hardware store one and not the usual Rogers design.I`m pretty sure this part is original to the stand when i bought it.Have you seen these stands with this type of regular wing screw?

Wayne Thats the original one the also came with a smaller one on the none Humberto Models. Many guy used to change them and put regular wing nuts because they used to strip, it's a thin gauge wing nut. So if you change that part there is no impact on value just keep it chromed so it look nice. The one Glenn has, may fit there.

Great news Cuco and thanks again. The one Glenn has may fit there but shouldn`t it be all one piece(thread & wing tightener)?I`ve still got three out of the four original white leather sewn timbale guards to protect them from the on/off mounting and i always took care to make sure they were in place before mounting the drums.Only one was lost in 46 yrs. and i was 18 when i bought them.Kind of cool when you think how easily they fell off the rim mount. Thanks Cuco.

Wayne I may have some of those ''white leather sewn timbale guards'' the difference I think the ones I have are in green. I have to look and see. jajaja I replace them on my stands with felt because of constant falling off.

Cuco, i know what you mean by the constant falling off of the leather timbale guards. If you come across a white one let me know please. My stand also has all three of it`s original rubber feet so it`s about 99% original for the exception of the modified base stand tightener screw.

Wayne Sure no problem I know i have them but were among all the junk that I have all over the place jaja but if I see I will let you know. But on of the best thing to put on the side to guard drums is furniture moving felt, Sold in hardwares. It sticks to the stand and protects welland hard to come off.

Thanks Cuco- your tips are always welcome and most useful. These stands must be extemely rare and hard to come by.They are very heavy and solid and wonderfully made that`s for certain.
