I just wanted to share this Rogers kit that I have. I think it is Pink Strata Pearl. I was hoping maybe someone could confirm/deny this. The lighting in the photos make them appear to have a red tint but I can take better ones if necessary. The sizes are: 13", 13", 14", 14", 16", 22". One rack tom and the 16" floor tom are less faded than the rest of the kit and both have white mufflers rather than black ones (probably add-ons from a later date). One of the drum heads reads "Music City," a Philadelphia music store owned by Ellis Tollin. I have heard the Pink Strata/Oyster Pearls are fairly rare. Wine Red Ripple seems to look similar. Can post serial numbers soon.
EDIT:
I just finished cleaning these drums up. I checked for wrap fading when I removed the hardware, but to my surprise found none. I am trying to nail down which pieces in this kit were originally purchased together. I believe the original kit consisted of the kick, snare, one rack tom, and the 14" floor tom but I can't say positively. Although these 4 drums show the most similarity in color, they are not all exactly the same (the floor tom and snare drum are the same although very slightly off from the kick drum. The rack tom is also close but seems to have a darker tint). I was hoping someone would be able to shed some light on Rogers' serial number system to help date them. Below are photos of each drum and their serial number. They are all Dayton era.
