I'm picking up this Rogers in a black onyx finish.
Anyone have an L-Arm to sell?
9x13, 16x16, 14x22
It's kits like this that make me want a Rogers even though I've never played one
I love my Ludwig, but Rogers are the best, I've owned several, they are well built and sound fantastic.
What happened with the slingerland?
JR! A great looking Rogers set! I love the onyx and agate finishes. The only real down-side is that these finishes can tend to shrink and split over the years. Many of the splits can be hard to notice against the onyx/agate wrap, which is a good thing! How's the wrap on your kit?

They're not actually mine yet, I'm suppose to pick them up Wednesday.
The wrap has sone cracks, mainly on the kick, but I'm getting them at a good price.
I agree, Rogers are the best! Although I have my first Camco Oaklawn kit on the way; we'll see if I change my tune.
I have a very nice Dayton Red Onyx 12 14 20, and the wrap on it has a couple tiny cracks where the seam hits a lug. You need to baby these finishes to keep them pristine.

JR...
The good thing is that the pattern of these wraps can hide many of the cracks and separations. Looks like a really nice kit. Hope to see more pictures when you receive the kit! I love my 1966 Headliner in blue sparkle.
