Hello,

15 years ago I was lucky enough to recieve a ludwig 8 lug onyx black Pearl snare drum, the date stamp inside says DEC 22 1965 and it has a serial number of 247086 . I was a child when this happened and really never knew what I had untill recently. It has been kept in a black Ludwig hard case for the last 15 years and never touched. I have decided to sell it and figured since this fourm has help me so much in my research I would post here. It will come with the hard case

Which I'll post pictures of layer today. Now as I said before I have researched this snare and am well aware of what it's worth so please no lowball offers

James, you may want to pull a head and take an interior shot or 2 with the date stamp as well. Many collectors like to see the interior to verify the correct era is adhered to where paints or lacquers, etc. are concerned.
