I have a Ludwig set from the 90's that appears to be a Rocker series of some sort. I want to replace all the lugs, screws, hoops, etc.
Where is a good place to buy this stuff in bulk?

Well..........
Why?
You will spend much money and not have much return ... if any.
With that said ....
Try Precision Drums, JamminSams, JP2parts, Stdrums, InterstateMusic.
Any or all of these can help you. You will have a dickens of a time with those lugs, though. Good luck.
The lugs have pitting and rust in the hoops, etc. I am not into spending hours polishing a gazillion lugs, screws, hoops, etc.
I take it, it is a very expensive thing I have proposed?
I reckon you can either put a value on money or time, I would rather take the short road rather than the long road in terms of getting the kit back into shape.
Thanks for the tips!
Check with your local Ludwig dealer and ask them to CALL Ludwig. They used to have stockpiles of those lugs in stock, they might still even though they are not listed in the parts catalogs anymore.
I shall do that my good man!
Thank you!
Again, I'm going to put the bug in your ear....
What about putting actual Ludwig classic lugs on this? They would look oh so much nicer. What say ye...

It sounds good to me! How much would about 104 of them be? That is how many I need...:)
I also need 104 lug screws. What style claws should I get for the bass drum?

Do you have half the screws already?.... and check with Mcjnic as to the proper length of those screws :):)
DOHDOH

You DOG! Yes. I can speak intelligently on the subject. Oh man. I'm starting to have flashbacks. BAD MOJO!!!
What Kevin is reminding you about is that it takes two screws for each single lug. So, you would need double the amount of screws for the amount of lugs. It's just his sick and twisted sense of humor kicking in...oh man....I am so boned. I'm never going to get that behind me.
In all seriousness...I put together a 12 inch tom this evening and hit the ol' washer bin for the spacers to get around those STUPID screws. No joke. Tom looks GOOOOOOOD, though. I am so close to finishing this multi-color mutant jazzer, it ain't even funny. My wife came up with an amazing idea for the bass wrap. I'm going to stay silent until it's finished. It's REALLY sweet. Seriously.
I just measured the screws and they are 2 and 1/2 inches long.
I have all the screws currently but wanted to get brand new ones, these are rusty and don't look to good.
If I am going to go all the way with the set I may as well go all the way. The interior screws are fine however, the ones that screw the lugs onto the shells themselves...I won't be needing to replace those.
Ok, I think I see the problem now. I must be using the wrong terminology. I am referring to the screws that you screw into the lugs on the outside of the drums to hold the head down...what are they called?
