All of your example are/ were used as alternates currently or in the past. Hubs however are / were not.

Ooops sorry....i did type hubs, didn't i? My bad. Lugs do go on hubs tho. :)So its against vintage law to rewrap club dates? I didn't know that, sorry. Could of sworn i seen rewraps on here b4.:oOk so just ignore my earlier post.

Sorry if my post come off a little.....jerky Robyn.In general,rewraps are usually done if the original wrap is beyond repair,but the drum itself can be salvaged,and made playable again.So many vintage drums have been altered over the years,which most of us here,seek to keep them in original condition.That's why some guys look for an orphan drum to complete a kit,and sometimes ....it takes years and years to find that piece.

The bottom line is though,if the drums belong to you,you can do whatever it is you want to do,just understand that thay are piece of history,and you'll devalue their resale value by at least 35%.
