Picked up this lot! Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Hey guys I grabbed this lot of drums locally the other night. Looking to move most of it once I get it presentable and or restored. Want to move the WMP stuff first as Ive posted it in the For Sale section. Going to start a thread in the Restoring section as I clean up the WMP jazzfest. The two SBP toms are something I have longed to have but I really need money right now to finish my recording so I am torn about what will happen with those for now.

Cheers

Curtis

Curtis - If you've always wanted an SBP kit, you're only a bass drum away from having one! Sell the WMP drums and the 2x12" Fender speaker cab and keep the SBP's. Single SBP bass drums do come up for sale from time to time. I vote for you to keep the SBP's.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Yes Sir +1 with John. I've always thought SBP was the prettiest finish Ludwig ever offered, despite the Ringo-induced popularity of OBP. Keep those toms; sell the rest.

I would keep all 5 drums and wrap to match in my favorite ludwig color if it were my choice to make. They are all ludwig single hub drums, right?

pretty good score btw.

Rewrap a keystone badge 60's vintage club dates........sacrilidge Robyn.Better to just look for a finish that you like, and leave the vintage drums intact, but they're your drums, and you do with them as you please.Just a point of information of information, they're called lugs or lug castings, not hubs.

That's right! And it's a drum set, not a kit. And they're heads, not skins. And it's a bass drum, not a kick. Let's call out the lexicon police to clean up these regional colloquialisms! Soap Box
