I just got one of those recently, but no cast rims. Those look like Tama rims to me-
That hatching indicates it is steel. That shell is not the shell that is subject to the 2/3 line stell/brass (general)rule. I have had alot of the Pearl made snares with those shells. They make a great snare drum IMHO. It would be interesting to know what those hoops did to the sound.
10 lugs, with those hoops, that shell (drum is an early/mid 70s), as clean as it is - anything south of $100US is a good deal.

Have an earlier version 8 lug same shell. Best sounding COS snare so far. Rims should improve on the stamped factory. Looks clean, $100 easy maybe a bit more.

I've only played this one once on a friends kit, but I thought It sounded quite nice. And the Gladstone style strainers on these, like their COB brothers, are great.

Ok, guys, thanx. Nice to hear all of this. I just bought it for 85 Euro's (that's 95 US$). It will be send along with the original hoops and a period correct Pearl snare stand. There's also pretty new heads and snares on it. First I thought, skip it, but then I realized I don't have a steel snare in my collection. And I like the look of this one. I'll probably (after testing it the way it is now) swap the hoops and use the die-cast for a 14 x 7 semented that I'm building.

Looks like a 4514 which were steel or brass but 10 luggers.
Yours looks to be an 8 lug. 4614? steel
Fun fact, these Pearl snares have the same shell as some Star snares, including some King Beats. Who copied who?
