OK, I'm on! Patrick is living "off the grid" w/o Internet access, and he is not really an Internet kind of guy. I have kind of limited contact with him, so sorry, can't bombard him with questions....after all, they were stolen from him, but as you saw, he gave his blessing for someone to enjoy the drums!

I did notice that no one has mentioned he was a founding member of Rick Nelson's Stone Canyon Band...lots of videos of him on YouTube. It's ironic that the Gold Record he has, for Garden Party, he only plays the kick and the hihat pedal !! Doesn't pick up a stick for the entire song!

One other story I would like to share....I got to meet Buddy Cage a couple of times (recently)...I started to say something about Patrick, and he cut me off in mid-sentence- "the best drummer I have played with in my whole career".

As mentioned above Patrick has recorded tracks for the last 2 Piedmont Brothers Band albums...I don't have the full song but here is a link to iTunes...on The Dark Stranger, we have Patrick, Stephen A Love and Buddy Cage reunited for the first time since their NRPS days

Here is a song Patrick recorded for our album "III" I think an awesome drum track, never repeats the same fill, and he played the whole song in one take, no click track, he was the last to record, so played along with the already recorded tracks...there is a picture from this session at 1:30...he's playing a maple set of Tribes drums. Jock Bartley plays the electric solo, he was in the Fallen Angels Band with Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris and a founding member of Firefall.

If you want to buy the physical CDs you van get them on our website:

http://www.piedmontbrothersband.com/

Patrick plays on tracks 1,3,6,7 and 11 on "III" and tracks 2 and 6 on "Back to the Country"

Jaghog - I have that Rick Nelson & Stone Canyon lp with "Garden Party" on it. It's yours if you want it (and if you have a turntable still...). Free of charge. Just send me a pm if you want it. :)
