what a trip back home and don't know were to begin no fade here white is white a little yellow glow from m incandescent light, look at chrome and the cases it came with also so far 2 trans stamp zildjians a 20 in is very nice also a hollow stamp 16 cracked but original (the hi hats lots of patina looks like 2 dot raised stamp with dark z but have to look closer )...to kit i have to look again for red dots( they tell me whats original to this kit) this is real cool but just not the same when buying for investment verses for your self the historic significance of this kit is the wow factor here ...

Yes just over 10 years ago my nephew contacted me and said " Do you want to buy your drums back" ? .....answer "Ummmmmmmm yeah". Guess he didn't revere them as much as I did? ( Yes that IS filth on the bass drum )...lol I just noticed the long thumb screw sticking out of the tom mount..

I can personally attest to part 2 of this story as I was in attendance during the unpacking. I think that ralphie in the Christmas story had the same look on his face as we did unpacking these. Forever the faz.

only me this would happen too ...well this has certainly become enlightening, if any thing else, about the true provenance on kit, i for one would like to see theses get back to Patrick so if you are reading this you can contact me to make arrangements or your principal, if at least to let me know your intentions, ill try to get them in rock and roll exhibit with your blessing if you wish not to get them back in your possession, any one out there that can get a hold of him id appreciate it..

Hey Gary, I appreciate your concern and honesty…I had already asked Patrick about the drums, because I had not heard that story before- I wondered if the band picked up the tab, or insurance, or if he had to shell out from his own pocket. Here’s what he said:

As for the drums, hey, that was a long time ago and the insurance covered it so pass the word to enjoy the drums with my blessing. this is from mike gallivan his rep

so now any takers lol,,,
