From Drumaholic

"I don't use no felts, and my cymbals swing free, but I ain't never worn through no cymbal sleeve."That my hip-hop rhyme for the day. Dig it.

My cymbal stands like to walk away from the abuse and they take the cymbal with it.

Hit it, hit it

That's why I did it

Did it, did it, that's why I hit it !!

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

I've been playing for 60 years and I never keyholed a cymbal yet with no top washer, but then again I don't play hard rock.

New Stamp old Ks...... Mark take the "new old" A Zildjian "trans" ( !!) 22" ummm.. nicknamed (?.. "floppy lumpy and expensive" (from what I've read so far about it ; ) and begin a new thread !

The only reason I actually brought it up in this thread is because Drumaholic was describing the difference in sound between flatter and more bowed profiles on thin cymbals and that cymbal has both.

The bell seems to be very large. And isn't the $1400 price on the low side? I wonder if it Is due to a lack of interest in 24" cymbals? I also wish the image of the stamp was a little better. Hard to see it well on my phone.

He says it in the text. It's priced to sell. He wants to move it quickly.

... sometimes gotta move need cash. (still doesn't guarantee a sell.

Yeah I'd like more pics too. 3500g is the hefty side of a 24" Old K.

I know we're not dealing with flat circles here, but a 22 in circle is approximately 84% of the area of a 24 in circle. So, 84% of the 3500 grams would approximately equal 2940g.for a 22 in cymbal. This is a very rough estimate, of course, since a cymbal is not flat, the weight distribution is not even, and cymbals have a bell. Still, extrapolating the approximate weight of a 22in version of that cymbal seems to be on the heavy side as well, although it would still be 350 grams lighter than that 3300 gram 22 in cymbal you mentioned recently.
