new snare day

Hi Doug

I think the middle part of your wrap has maybe been put on over the the existing or original wrap. Anyway for what you payed it looks great just add to collection and get those paradiddles moving. Also the muffler looks like some old retro type im sure a slingerland or other type will be fine. If it were me doug id find the nearest best thing. Over in USA you have tons of places even ebay to get parts. Just stay away from those drum strippers over there. Id rather leave a hole in drum than buy off that Lee County i think they are called. Also that mounting screw nut and washer im gonna send to you for the star kit free as a great friend......sean

Sean - Thanks for the input. Yeah, I'm with you, I'll get a retro muffler of some sort, put a filler screw in the other hole and move on. Of course, I'll be on the lookout for a project drum of the LaBoz variety (also Revelle I found) to grab a donor muffler from but that may never happen.

Thanks for your friendship and generosity! You're a pal!!
