That's a circa 1960's Gretsch Playboy kit . Love that tangerine sparkle . Drums have tags inside or not ?

Snare looks to be early 60's Ludwig Supraphonic with nickel hardware . Is there a serial # on the badge ?

I'll get back to you with model # of that Gretsch metal snare . I have a catalog at home . More later ...

1967 Ludwig Super Classic Oyster Blue Pearl

Those are model numbers . Can you tell me the serial #s on the tags .

The snare is the model 4160 . Yours has the Lightning Strainer so it was made around 1969 . I have catalogs from 1958 ; 61 and 66 but none list the drum set you have .

The ludwig snare is a Pioneer model, not a supraphonic. Supraphonic snares were metal snares, not wood.

Who in their right mind would throw out vintage drums like that? Where are you from? I need to cruise that neighborhood on trash day!
