Looks brand new. Have you thought about buying a single tom mount so you can play the set as a super classic? Also have you thought about re-painting the insides?

Really nice. I'm glad you went into the ring for this one. It is a nice kit for a little bit of work. Good stuff.

I only plan on using one of the 12"ers, so a single mount is an option. For now I will just use one arm on the double mount.

I don't plan on painting the inside, but they sure could use it.

If insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, is it insane to practice?

Gotta tell ya, the double mount's solider, more adjustable, leaves you the option of a second tom, or I tend to use it for a wood block and cowbell. I'll even use a clamp on cymbal arm and get rid of one more floor stand. Rail's look cool, but the adjustability sucks. And you'd have a big old hole in the top of the drum.........

If you want the paint code, I've got the # for a Sherman-Williams match up via Jack Lawton........

You can see mine @ http://www.myspace.com/bill39smusicstuff

Got' em from Dick Dale's bass player.

The Bass drum is done!!! It's all cleaned up, the hoops have fresh paint and inlay, old mount holes are filled, new heads, etc.

I finished cleaning the floor tom today, but I'm still waiting on its other hoop and more tension rods. As soon as they come in I'll assemble and the set will be complete.
