I havnt played a trap set since the operation, but I have been playin my djembe at the acoustic jam. I know that a couple of hydrocodone and few screwdrivers and a lil thc and I dont feel no pain! lol
Not lookin forward to unloading my Yukon XL in the morn. My drum room is full and my garage is piled up as well,. I need to sell something! lol
how about the ringo kit just kidding i know what u mean i need to sell some also
I have several non vintage kits i need to find good homes for. I am starting to understand more of jonnistix attitude. IM about ready to give these to a worthy kid. I think I need to take the ones I have set up, down, and just stack. them in the drum room. Have one kit set up and ready to play.
Hey Poppy,
Hear about the drummer who got booked for a Snow Season gig..
He ended up with Kneemonia..
Hope you have a good recovery..
(To 4 young Aussie's I'm known as "Poppy" too)
Cheers
Great score Poppy!!!!!!! Have a fast recovery and then give those puppies a good swing!!!

I got all the serial numbers
The whole kit was made in 1966
22" BD #356921
16" FT #354742
13" Tom #353668
12" tom #358149
14" supra #364255
The xtra bass drum 22" #705080 1969
I cant find anything that matches the finish on this drum.
I looked at all the wrap colors on vintage drum guide.
Does anyone know what it is. It will be the 1st 2 pics.
Hey Poppy,
Nice looking drums. Its looks like the extra drum may have been Black Oyster that was exposed to a lot of light and faded out considerably?

Poppy,
I believe the extra 1969 Bass drum you have is the 1st generation of the Bowling Ball wrap that Ludwig used after the original Oyster Black Pearl we all know and love. Some of these still sported the Keystone badge, although not many. They switched to the B/O Badge in late 1969.
Nice find!
