My New Music Room

Loading...

Very Nice!! I am close to finishing my daughter's new bedroom (gotta do the deed and finish that damned drywall, yuck!!) up in the attic then her old bedroom is MINE!! I would like to borrow your idea of the record crown molding if you did not file for any type of patent on that!!! I got a ton of old records from my old man as well as various other fiddles, banjos, accordians:eek:, and other stuff I don't know how to play but would look cool displayed the way your's is!

Again, very nicely done on the music room, it puts out a real nice visual vibe!!Cool1

have a wonderful evening

Thanks for the compliment. Im phsyco about drums! lol

The crown molding is in fact hand rail. I put it up to screw the guitar hooks into. The albums are in frames which I bought from walmart online. they were 6 to a box for about $33. They work exceptionally well. in fact the backs of the frames have clear plexiglass so you can see the backs of the albums also. Walmart has ship to store and that's free shipping.

Those are Remo Fiberskyn heads. The purpose of that is, Playing in an acoustic Guitar circle with brushes. I have never tried them out. Right after that I bought a Conga at a pawn shop and it worked great. Then I found a Djembe on Craigs List and it works great too. I now have 3 sets of 3 congas, 3 Djembe all remo sizes 12-14-14

I own a auto trim shop. We restore auto interiors and replace auto glass and do virtually and kind of upholstery. My shop has been mentioned in numerous magizines involving Restored or Custom vehicles. We do a lot of commercial stuff too. We do upholstery for hospitals, restaurants, fitness centers, airport, or any business with lots of chairs, such as social security administration, city hall etc... I am 3rd generation in this business. My Dad, Son, and 6 others work for me.

i can see what youre getting at - but rototoms are almost useless without projection. The rototoms (played by brushes) would be a nominal volume with normal heads as well. Just saying - thats a lot of money for calfskins, especially since you cant really dig into them in any other situation since those heads are so soft. Why not just use calfskin heads on normal toms?

Im not trying to bust you - just sparking converstaion I guess.
