That's a great looking set of Slingies complete with some good cymbals. Your patience has handsomely rewarded you. Tou said in an earlier post that there was another drum in mix. What is it?

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

It was an Apollo megatone. I posted info and pic in the mij section. Basically a king Beat by star prior to Tama branding. Great drum. So I got 2 great snares in this one auction lot.

Sooweeeet! Arrived undamaged I hope. What a fine looking set of drums. I have often considered taking the plunge on a set of Slingerlands with some awesome wrap-like yellow tiger pearl. My criterion for a purchase may seem a bit vain (I assure you I'm not), but I picture myself sitting behind the drums playing out and how the presentation would look over-all. This, my friend, would be one set of skins I'd love to sit behind....happy for you. D.

Dean, these drums do look great under lights. Here are some un edited pics I took last night with just a small glow ball light and my wifes phone light app. Imagine what stage lights could do.

Beam us up, Scotty. The Satin Flame material was used in the transporter room of the Star Trek television series. The special effects for this series were spectacularly low tech.
