1968 is about the earliest you see the black strata finish. There may be a few ‘67s around, but I haven’t seen one yet.

Was Rogers' Black Strata the same wrap as Ludwig's Oyster Black Pearl? I have a Fullerton 10x14 in Black Strata and a Ludwig guy said it looked identical to the wrap on his Ringo kit. Just curious.
