This is a photo of my Oyster Pearl Star drums 13", 16" and 22". I believe them to be from 1970, based on 8 lugs on bass, metal hoops, lugs and style of badge according to Ralph's site.

Here is a close up of the badge. These are 3 ply with rerings. They are warm and fat sounding. They are different from the Rogers Holiday kit I use to own but they sound good in their own way the only change I anticipate is recutting the bearing edges.

WOW! for the wrap, WOW that they are the 3 ply w/ rings! Wow on the price!
How did you get such a great deal? Anything else come with it?

the rack tom floats in air
The rack has a Ludwig styled mount and is suspended from a cymbal stand tom mount. The counselette was missing but I do have the shell mount.
I picked it up at a pawnshop they also had a Whitehall kit for a hundred also but it's gone now. I am going to pick up a five piece Royce kit that they have there for a hundred also, its a red sparkle finish with the old hex styled tom mounts that the old pearls had.

Great score! love the wrap!
Thank you!

Beautiful finish. Apparently one of the more rare shell types with the re-rings inside. That explains why the badge at the floor tom isn't placed in the middle of the drum.
What kind of rail consolette would you need in case of making it complete?

Nice. Just picked up a snare in the same finish, (rectangle badge, 3 ply, re-rings) - found it to be much 'bluer' under hoops and lugs - have you checked yours? Love this finish.
