From green glass drum

All sealed up. Nice.Nice paint job sir.My cats do all kinds of destructive things in my studio and in the house.I had to cat proof my big computer as they knocked it over.Is that a birch veneer? or maple?

Its maple, gonna get a nice stain that was custom matched from a kitchen job.

Thank you!

From jccabinets

Received 4 really nice lugs from Brian (salty 1322), thank you sir!

I'm really glad to have helped in a small way, Jeff. My pleasure!

Hey thanks for chiming in guys!

Brian, your lugs will go on top of the bass drum!

Gonna get some stain on the shells today, I will post some pics.

Thank you!

Hi Jeff!

The shells are looking great. Can't wait to see them stained. The only reason I haven't offered up any parts is that everything I have is now boxed up for my move. My house goes up for sale in the next few weeks. I've never had this much drum "stuff" in my life!

thanks Mark, no worries sir. I didn't really come here to ask for free parts it just kind of worked out that way, many nice people here that are very kind and wanted to send parts.

I just thought it would be fun to do another restore thread, it has a lot of views so someone is watching.

Thought I would post a pic while the drums are drying. This is a pre-stain that will make the colored stain go on much nicer, you can see the drum look wet, well except the bass drum it is still raw maple.

Jeff, you`re doing a fantastic job. You cheap not on the Maple, it`s flawless. Is someone missing a lazy Susan cabinet somewhere they should have one ?

Anyway, are you gonna add re-rings to the two toms ? So they all match.

I`m following the thread and can`t wait for another great finish,...so,.....hurry up !!

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

This will be the first time I've actually post a picture directly from my phone. Hope it comes out right side up.

Good!

Now to answer your question odd ball no I'm not adding any rings, there just going to go the way they are. This stain is very light right now so I'll be following up with some shading additives

Thank you!
